You can use the Identity Manager Service Center to act simultaneously on multiple activities that are assigned to you. The Select
Multiple option is only available for a work order and decision based activities. For
example, approvals, separation of duty violations, and simple user re-certifications. You must
choose individually and work on the activities which are of the type Request for Information and
Compliance alert.
Before you begin
Depending on how your system administrator customized your system, you might not have access
to this task. To obtain access to this task or to have someone complete it for you, contact your
system administrator. An administrator can show or hide the user comment field from
the page. An administrator can also configure the justification field either as required or optional
for approving or rejecting the activity. An administrator can also configure the justification as a
required or optional for work order activity. An administrator can also hide the justification field
from the page. Contact your system administrator if you want to change the behavior of the
justification
field.
About this task
An activity is an action item that is displayed in your activities list as
part of a workflow process and requires your action. You can use the Identity Manager Service Center to view and act on your activities. When you
use this option, you provide a single justification and the same operation is performed on all the
selected items.Note: You can view only those attributes for which
you are granted read permission.
If the activity is for
user re-certifications in which you must specify review actions instead of simple decision actions,
the activity is marked with an icon and you are redirected to the Self-Service console.
Procedure

Log on to Identity Manager Service Center.
- Click .
The Manage
Activities and Decisions page is displayed.
- Optional: You can filter the activities that
are displayed.
You can enter a string in the Search field
to search for activities that contain the string. You can also use
the quick search categories to narrow the list of activities that
are displayed.
- Click Select Multiple.
The selectable activities are displayed with a check box.
- Select the activity.
- For each activity that you want to take the same action on, select the check box.
- Select the check box for a single activity and click Select All on this
Page to select all similar activities.
- Type the reason for your decision and any additional comments.
The justification is applied to each of the selected activities.
- Complete the activity.
- For approval activities, click Approve or
Reject.
- For work order activities, click Successful,
Warning, or Failure.
Your action is processed and the activity cards are updated
appropriately.

You can continue to work on your activities, review previously
completed activities, or exit from the Manage Activities
and Decisions page.
