Modifying role assignment attributes for your personal profile

You can modify the role assignment attributes contained in your profile.

Before you begin

Depending on how your system administrator customized your system, you might not have access to this task. To obtain access to this task or to have someone complete it for you, contact your system administrator.

Procedure

  1. From the Identity Manager Home page, click on View or Change Profile or Change Profile, depending on your system configuration, from the My Profile page.
  2. Click each tab and specify information in the fields.
  3. Click Role Assignment Attribute at the bottom of the form.
    If the organizational roles that you selected have role assignment attributes defined, the Display Roles with Role Assignment Attributes page is displayed.
  4. On the Display Roles with Role Assignment Attributes page, complete the following steps:
    1. Select the roles in the table, if any. The Associate Role Assignment Attributes page is displayed.
    2. In the Role Assignment Attributes table, click the name of the assignment attribute. The Set Assignment Values page is displayed.
    3. Enter a value for the attribute and click Add. You can add more than one value. When you are finished, click OK. The Associate Role Assignment Attributes page is displayed.
    4. When you are finished adding values to attributes, click OK. The Display Roles with Role Assignment Attributes page is displayed.
    5. When you are finished adding values to all the roles, click OK. The View or Change Profile or Change Profile page is displayed.
  5. When you are done specifying the information on the tabs, click OK.
  6. If you have clicked OK, verify the details of your request on the Request Submitted page.
  7. In the Related Tasks section , click links to review your request or return to the Identity Manager Home page.
