Defer or Correct Compliance Alert

The Manage Activities and Decisions page lists the activities that are assigned to you. You can also review the changes before you act on the request. Use the page to either defer or correct non-compliance alert.

Before you begin

An administrator can configure the justification field as mandatory or optional. An administrator can also hide the justification field from the page.

If you want to change the behavior of the justification field, contact your system administrator.

Procedure

  1. From the Home page, click Manage Activities.
    The Manage Activities and Decisions page opens and the available activities are displayed.
  2. To defer or correct the request, choose one of the following options:
    • To review the changes to correct the non-compliance, click Review Changes.
    • Select Update Details.
      1. In the Global alert policy enforcement section, provide the reason for your decision in the Justification box.
      2. Click Successful.
    • Select Defer.
      1. In Global alert policy enforcement section, select Extend due date to extend the due date of the compliance.
      2. In Justification, provide the reason for your decision.

Results

The request is deferred or marked as successful and the changes appear on the Manage Activities and Decisions page.
