Change Access Password

Lists accounts for a selected user that you can change passwords. You can change the access password for yourself or others.

The account card displays the service name, service description, and user ID of an account. You can change the access password for one or more accounts.

The access password change applies to all individual accounts that are excluded from password synchronization. The access password is changed also for the individual accounts that are not listed on the page. You must select each account whose access password you want change.

When you select the accounts to change the access password, the password requirements are displayed. You can also view the password requirements that are in conflict.

You must resolve the password requirement conflicts by clearing the accounts that are causing the conflict.

You can change the access password by choosing any one of the following options:
  • To use a generated password, select Generate a password for me, and click Submit.
  • To enter a password, select Allow me to type a password. Type your current Identity Manager password, new password, and then click Submit.
