Upgrade IBM Verify Identity Governance by applying the latest fix packs from Fix Central. Fix packs might address fixes to issues, improve performance, add feature enhancements, currency support or to address security vulnerabilities. Maintain your environment by applying the latest fix pack levels.

Overview

The IBM Verify Identity Governance installation program upgrades a computer that has the previous versions. Some manual steps are required to preserve or re-customize settings.

Supported upgrade paths

IBM Verify Identity Governance installation program supports the following upgrade paths:

From IBM Verify Identity Governance to v11.0.0.0 IBM Verify Identity Governance v11.0.0.1

Installing the fix packs

Install fix packs by using one of the following methods:

Graphical user interface or interactive installation: The installation program walks you through the process of completing the fix pack installation information.
Silent installation: The installer reads prepared response files that contain values to configure the directory server, database server, WebSphere® Liberty, and IBM Verify Identity Governance without requiring any user interaction.

Both methods are supported in single-server and clustered environments
