Support for business unit scoping
When creating a certification campaign, you can now configure the Business Unit scope, by specifying inclusion or exclusion criteria. This feature is available for Account as well as User Entitlement campaigns.

When creating a certification campaign, you can now select business units to be included in or excluded from the campaign, by specifying the inclusion or exclusion criteria. This feature is available for Account as well as User Entitlement campaigns.
Enhancements in Operational Visibility dashboard
IVIG Administrator can now view a wide range of numerical data related to user lifecycle, user lifecycle trends, and account lifecycle, on the Operational Visibility dashboard.
This release introduces a caching mechanism in the Operational Visibility dashboard for better performance in fetching the required data.
Support for data import and export in Role lifecycle
You can now import or export the access data for the roles, using a CSV file.
Support for EJB APIs
This release delivers Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) APIs for IBM Verify Identity Governance - Container.
To access these APIs, go to <Starter>/bin/util directory and run the script ./getExtensions.sh
Next, go to /extensions/<ReleaseVersion>/examples/ejb_apps directory. Open the readme.html file for detailed instructions to set up the Java client for accessing the EJB APIs as well as code samples.
Updates to REST APIs
This release delivers REST APIs for Identity Analytics.
In addition, this release also delivers multiple enhancements to the following REST APIs:
IGI Migration Tool
IGI Migration Tool enables you to migrate the data from IBM Security Verify Governance - Verify Governance to IBM Verify Identity Governance - Container.
Infrastructure upgrades
This release uses the upgraded versions of the following key components:
  • IBM DB2 version 12.1

You can now enable or disable access to multiple roles in the Role Life Cycle feature.

IBM Verify Identity Governance version 11.0.0, formerly IBM Security Verify Governance, introduces these capabilities as part of Enterprise Edition:

Enhancements in RBAC model

Enhances existing RBAC model with modern user experience, visibility into fine-grain entitlements and low-code/no-code role composition.

Improved user experience with SoD

Introduces modern user experience and business centric approach of Separation Of Duty (SoD) policies modeling across fine-grain entitlements. Business activities to present a comprehensive SoD policy and violation view for end-users, managers, auditors and risk compliance managers

Enhancements in certification campaigns
This release delivers the following advanced capabilities for certification campaigns:
Application/entitlement owner as reviewer
IVIG administrator can create access and account certification campaigns with application and access owner as reviewer.
Self-certification by the end user
IVIG administrator can configure campaigns for account owners to certify the user entitlements and accounts that they own. The users can then perform self-certification in the Service Center.
Automatic refresh of the running certification campaigns
After a campaign is launched, the running campaign always displays the latest state of the users, their entitlements, as well as the approver changes. If there is any change in the approver (for example, approver leaves the organization), then the approvals are automatically routed to application owner. In such cases, the campaign details page prominently highlights the changes to the new approver.
Identity Analytics

Introduces Identity Analytics, a multi-purpose analytics engine that processes users and entitlement data from a variety of sources including Verify Identity Governance, providing a 3600 view of user-entitlement risks with recommendations and the ability to take action based on the risk insights

Operational Visibility Dashboard

Introduces Operational Visibility Dashboard for Identity and Access Management (IAM) administrators to gain better insights into currently running, failed and successful provisioning and governance operations to address possible remediations.

Role Optimizer utility

A new Role Optimizer utility is provided that can be paired up with mainstream identity governance solution as well as external roles to perform Role Mining activities.

Infrastructure upgrades
IBM Verify Identity Governance - Container version 11.0.0 release uses the upgraded versions of the following key components:
  • IBM WebSphere Liberty version 24.0.0.9
  • IBM DB2 version 11.5.9
    Note: IBM DB2 version 11.5.9 will reach end of support in 2026. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest DB2 version then available.
  • IBM MQ version 9.4
