Downloading the product
Steps to download IBM Verify Identity Governance product installation files and fix packs
Overview
The Passport Advantage® website provides packages, called eAssemblies, for IBM® products.
The specific eAssembly that is appropriate for your organization depends on the following
conditions:
- IBM Verify Identity Governance deployment form factor (Software Stack / Virtual Appliance / Container)
- IBM Verify Identity Governance license (Enterprise / Compliance / Lifecycle)
- Operating system used by the deployment form factor
Downloading the product
- Use the table in Download document to find the eAssembly number or part numbers of the
downloadable images that you need.The Download document for each release is listed here:
- Log in to the IBM Passport Advantage website.
- Use the eAssembly number or part numbers to search for the downloadable images.
- Download all of the optional and required parts that you need. Tip: If you download a top-level eAssembly, all the individual part numbers within the eAssembly are displayed.
- Create a temporary directory for your downloaded software.
- Unpack each of the parts into the temporary directory.
- Install IBM Verify Identity Governance product. Refer to the installation procedure specific to the form factor (Software Stack / Virtual Appliance / Container).
Downloading the fix packs
It is recommended to maintain your IBM Verify Identity Governance environment by applying the latest fix packs. Fix packs deliver feature enhancements, fixes to known issues, improved performance, upgraded infrastructure currency support, and remediation for security vulnerabilities.
To download fix packs, perform the following steps:
- Log in to IBM Fix Central website.
- Search for the product: IBM Verify Identity Governance
- Specify the currently installed product version.
- From the list of available fix packs, download the one specific to your deployment form factor form factor (Software Stack / Virtual Appliance / Container).
