This topic provides tips for troubleshooting the commonly encountered issues for the IVIG Role Optimizer feature.

Troubleshooting

  • In case the script execution fails at some point, check the install.log file generated at the location where the installer is placed. After identifying the root cause and the resolution of the issue occurred, the installation script can be re-executed to start the installation afresh.
  • The default ports to use the IVIG RO application are 9343, 8080, 2821, 28210, and 5471. If these ports are already being used by some other applications, these can be updated in the /opt/ibm/wlp/usr/servers/igi/endpoint.xml file.
