Known issues in version 11.0.0.0
This section lists the known issues and limitations in IVIG Role Optimizer version 11.0.0.
- IVIG Role Optimizer utility is currently not supported on Microsoft Windows Server and IBM AIX platforms.
-
Database connection using SSL is not supported.
-
User Management Utility using SSL is not supported.
- During the Role Optimizer installation, a symbolic link IBM will be created under '/opt directory. Hence ensure that there is no directory named IBM under /opt directory before running the install script.
-
On a fresh installation of IVIG Role Optimizer setup with PostgreSQL database configured, the user creation via User Management Utility fails for the first time. Though the output seems to show that the user creation is successful, an 'UNEXPECTED_ERROR' is observed in the logs.
To resolve this, the same user can be created again. This happens only for the first user being created in the system.
Note: This issue is fixed in IVIG Role Optimizer version 11.0.0.0 Interim Fix 1 release. -
ISIM Data extraction utility: When extracting data for organizational units, the user is prompted to enter the OU name from which the data needs to be extracted. On entering the OU name, another prompt appears: "Extract data from sub-Ous? (y/n): ". The product behaviour after selecting 'y' may give incorrect results intermittently.
To resolve this, the data can be extracted separately from each OU.
Note: This issue is fixed in IVIG Role Optimizer version 11.0.0.0 Interim Fix 1 release.
