Upgrading the cluster members

After you upgrade the deployment manager, upgrade the cluster members.

Procedure

  1. Start the installation wizard.
    Windows
    Launch the installer:
    11.0.0.0-ISS-IVIG-SW-FP00nn.exe
    Unix or Linux®

    Run the following command in a terminal:

    <WLP_HOME>/java/8.0/bin/java -jar 11.0.0.0-ISS-IVIG-SW-FP00nn.jar
    The Welcome window opens.
  2. Select the appropriate language and click OK.
    Note: This choice affects only the installation wizard and not the language version of the Verify Identity Governance Server to be installed.

    The license is always shown in the system locale and not the installation language that you select.

  3. Click Next.
    The Software License Agreement displays.
  4. Read the license agreement, select Accept and click Next.
  5. Specify the IBM Verify Identity Governance home directory and click Install.
    For example: C:\IBM\isim
  6. Read the instructions and select Continue to Next.

  7. Read the conditions that apply to cluster environments, then click Next.
    Before you continue, ensure that you apply any other changes that are necessary to configure the environment for the listed conditions.
    The Installation Directory of WebSphere Application Server page displays. The page displays with a designated WLP_HOME location.
  8. If the directory is not the directory in which you intend to install the IBM Verify Identity Governance server, click Choose. Specify the directory value, then click Next.

    You might have multiple installations of WebSphere® Application Server on a computer.

  9. In the WebSphere profile selection pane, select the WebSphere Application Server profile that hosts the cluster member and click Next.
  10. If WebSphere Application Server administrative security is enabled, specify the administrator user ID and password. Click Next.
    For example: wasadmin
  11. In the Cluster Member Pre-Installation Summary window, review the provided information. If everything is acceptable, click Install.
    The System Configuration window displays.
  12. Verify the details in each tab and click OK.
    Ensure that the details match the information specified during the deployment manager installation
    The Installation Completed window appears. If necessary, review the installation log locations.
  13. Click Done.
