Audit.syslog.server.host
The Audit.syslog.server.host
property
specifies the host name or IP address of the syslog server where the IBM® Security Guardium® Key Lifecycle Manager audit
log messages are sent.
- Audit.syslog.server.host=host name/IP address
- The audit log messages are written to a configured local audit
file in syslog format when:
- Syslog format is enabled for the audit messages.
- Syslog server host name and the port number are not specified.
- Required
- Optional.
- Values
- The value cannot exceed 256 characters in length.
If the host name or IP address of the syslog server is not reachable, audit log messages are redirected to a local audit file in syslog format.
- Example
- To set IP address of the syslog server, enter:
Audit.syslog.server.host=9.118.42.23
To redirect audit log messages to the syslog server, you must also specify the value for
Audit.syslog.server.port
