Disabling incremental replication

If you have configured incremental replication but cryptographic data is not generated frequently, you can disable incremental replication. Even if you disable incremental replication, full replication continues to run as scheduled.

About this task

You can use the graphical user interface or REST services to disable replication. You need to disable incremental replication on the master server only. If you disable full replication, incremental replication is automatically disabled. For instructions, see Disabling replication.

  • Using graphical user interface
    1. Log in to the graphical user interface on the master server.
    2. Click Administration > Replication.
    3. Ensure that Master role is selected.
    4. Click the Advanced Properties tab.
    5. In the Replication Scheduler Section, clear the Incremental replication frequency check box.
    6. Click OK.
  • Using REST services
    1. Open a REST client.
    2. Obtain a unique user authentication identifier to access IBM® Security Guardium® Key Lifecycle Manager REST services. For more information about the authentication process, see Authentication process for REST services.
    3. Run Update Replication Config Property REST Service.

Incremental replication is disabled. The full replication continues to run as per schedule.
