SDWAN Plugin
Important: For details on how to deploy / configure SDWAN's Fortinet and VeloCloud
solution, please refer to SD-WAN Fortinet Solution Deployment / Configuration Guide and
SD-WAN VeloCloud Solution Deployment / Configuration Guide respectively for details.
The SDWAN plugin allows you to create integrations with supported SD-WAN vendors such as, FortiManager and VeloCloud.
- To access the Device Manager from the navigation bar, click the Devices menu and select Device Manager.
- Either add a device with the SDWAN plugin or edit an existing device to enable the SDWAN plugin.
- Click Add Device to display the New Device page.
- Click

the Edit Device page.
- Click the plugin drop-down. By default, it is set to SNMP. Select SDWAN.
- Select Enable SDWAN API Integration check box.
- In the Vendor field, you can choose vendors Aruba EdgeConnect,
Cisco SD-WAN, FortiManager or VeloCloud.

for vendor, Aruba EdgeConnect

- In the Orchestrator URL field, enter the URL for SDWAN vendor, Aruba EdgeConnect.
- In the Username field, enter the username for SDWAN vendor, Aruba EdgeConnect.
- In the Password field, enter the password for SDWAN vendor, Aruba EdgeConnect.
- In the Poll Frequency field, enter how often to poll the device. The default value is 5 minutes.
- Enable field Auto-discover and monitor associated Edges - Use SNMP Plugin to automatically discover and monitor Aruba EdgeConnect devices.

for vendor, Cisco SD-WAN

- In the vManage URL field, enter the URL for SDWAN vendor, Cisco SD-WAN.
- In the Username field, enter the username for SDWAN vendor, Cisco SD-WAN.
- In the Password field, enter the password for SDWAN vendor, Cisco SD-WAN.
- Enable field Auto-discover and monitor associated Edge Devices - Use SNMP Plugin to automatically discover and monitor Cisco SD-WAN devices.

for vendor, FortiManager

- In the FortiManager URL field, enter the URL for SDWAN vendor, FortiManager.
- In the Username field, enter the username for SDWAN vendor, FortiManager.
- In the Password field, enter the password for SDWAN vendor, FortiManager.
- Enable field Auto-discover and monitor associated FortiGates - Use SNMP Plugin to automatically discover and monitor Fortinet devices.

for vendor, VeloCloud

- In the VCO URL field, enter the URL for SDWAN vendor, VeloCloud.
- In the Username field, enter the username for SDWAN vendor, VeloCloud.
- In the Password field, enter the password for SDWAN vendor, VeloCloud.
- In the Poll Frequency field, enter how often to poll the device. The default value is 10 minutes.
- Enable field Auto-discover and monitor associated VeloCloud Edges - Use SNMP Plugin to automatically discover and monitor VeloCloud devices.

for vendor, Prisma SD-WAN

- In the TSG-ID field, enter the Tenant Service Group (TSG) ID of Strata Cloud Manager.
- In the Client Id field, enter the Client ID of the PAN Service Account.
- In the Client Secret field, enter the Client Secret of the PAN Service Account.
- Enable field Auto-discover and monitor associated ION Devices - Use SNMP Plugin to automatically discover and monitor ION devices.

- Click Save As New to save the current changes as a New Device, or click Save to confirm the changes in the Edit Device page.

When the desired changes have been saved, click the Cancel button to return to the Device Manager page.
- Once the SDWAN plugin is configured, from the plugin drop-down, select plugin SNMP. Ensure that the field SNMP Capable check box is selected to enable the discovery of SNMP object types and to poll SNMP data on the device.
Important: Once the device is created, collection of Aruba EdgeConnect, Cisco SD-WAN,
SDWAN Fortinet, VeloCloud, and Prisma SD-WAN resources (based on the vendor
chosen) starts on SevOne NMS.
Note: Based on the vendor chosen, to view the SDWAN object types, from navigation bar,
- click Administration > Monitoring Configuration > Object Types
- Filter on
- SDWAN for Aruba EdgeConnect, Cisco SD-WAN (for TLoc object), and VeloCloud
- xStats for Versa and Viptela
- SNMP Poller for Aruba EdgeConnect, Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet, Palo Alto Prisma, and VeloCloud.
