Themes

From the left navigation bar, click Configure and select Themes. SevOne Data Insight comes with Default themes and also, provides a capability to create Custom themes.

Default Themes

By default, SevOne Data Insight has two default themes to choose from - System Light and System Dark.

Custom Themes

Contains the following topics.

Besides the default themes (System Light and System Dark), SevOne Data Insight provides a list, if any, of already created Custom themes. In addition to this, you have the capability to create a new custom theme. Custom themes have a search capability.

Note: Only Super Admins and Tenant Admins have access to Custom Themes.

Each tenant can have more than one theme.

From the left navigation bar, click Configure and select Themes.

  • If no theme is selected, you are ready to create a new custom theme.
  • If a theme is selected, you can edit the existing default or custom theme from the list.
  • If you have selected a theme from the list but would like to create a new theme, click the createTheme button button to create a new custom theme.

Panels

Left Panel

Provides a list of default (System Light & System Dark) and custom themes (if any) to choose from.

Center Panel

Allows you to view Report Manager page. Any change to the theme is dynamically reflected in this panel.

Right Panel

Allows you to create a new custom theme or update the settings for default and already created custom themes.

Note: Example
  • If you select a newly created custom theme, Theme Settings - Editing <Theme name> will appear in the right panel.
  • If you select an existing theme System Dark, Theme Settings - Editing System Dark will appear in the right panel.
  • Change view - Drop-down allows you to choose the view of the Center Panel. The options are:
    • Report Manager - live preview of the Report Manager page. Any color settings changed will reflect in this view dynamically.
    • Hover Styles - allows you to interact with the elements and hover over them to see the color changes.
  • Theme name - allows you to provide a name for the new custom theme being created or change the theme name of the selected theme. For example, Custom Theme Test.
  • If you are creating a new theme, you will see Light or Dark radio buttons which allow you to choose between the light or dark themes.
  • Private or Public - allows you to make the theme exclusive to the chosen tenant. From Tenants > Themes tab > Available Themes only lists the themes that are public.
  • Brand Color - Click the color icon to display the color palette. Let's assume the color icon is blue. Choose a new color. Let's choose green. All sections previously in blue will change to green. To undo the change, click Revert icon to restore to the last saved state of the theme.

To revert all changes made prior to saving the changes (i.e. revert to the last saved state), click Revert buton button and confirm to restore the theme.

To save the theme, click the Save / Save as button. You will see the theme created in the left-panel.

Buttons

Create Theme

Allows you to create a new theme. This button is available from the upper-right corner.

Save / Save As

When done with creating a new theme or modifying an existing one, click Save to save the existing theme or Save > Save As to save a new theme. The Save / Save As button is available from the upper-right corner. The new theme will appear in the left panel under Custom.

Important: From the left-navigation bar, click Up Arrow next to your user name and select Change Theme to see all available themes associated with the current tenant. New theme, custom Theme Test, is now available.

Delete

To delete one or more custom themes, select the theme(s) you would like to delete from the list in the left panel. Delete button will become available. Click the button and confirm to execute the delete operation. The Delete button is available from the upper-right corner.

Note: Button is unavailable until one or more custom themes are selected.

Theme View Mode

Click Theme view mode to view the theme; theme cannot be modified when you are in view mode.
