SevOne NPM Install / Upgrade / Downgrade 7.2.x Build Packages
Overview
IBM® SevOne® Network Performance Management (NPM) provides app-centric observability and actionable insights to prevent costly disruptions in network performance. Designed for modern, complex networks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, IBM® SevOne® leverages machine learning to transform raw data into proactive insights. With a focus on agility, reliability, and operational efficiency, it empowers NetOps teams to manage performance proactively, make data-driven decisions, and ensure a seamless user experience.
To perform a fresh install, upgrade, or downgrade, you will need the build packages for the SevOne NPM 7.2. The packages can be downloaded from IBM Passport Advantage (https://www.ibm.com/software/passportadvantage/pao_download_software.html) via Passport Advantage Online.
Once you have logged in to your IBM Passport Advantage account, follow the steps below.
In the search field, enter sevone 7.2.0 to obtain the list of packages for product SevOne, version 7.2.0.
- In the screenshots below, SevOne 7.1.0 is being used as an example. In the search
field, enter sevone 7.1.0.
- Click
to expand
eAssembly G0D0TML, for example. You will see that this eAssembly contains four images. i.e.,
M0N5FEN, M0NJ2ML, M0N5CEN, and M0N5GEN.
- Click IBM SevOne Network Performance Management 7.1.0 SDI, Vmware Install, English
(MON5FEN), for example. You will get the following screen.
It contains sdi-v7.1.0.ova file.
- Click
button to proceed with the download.
- You will get the following screen.
- Choose HTTP check box as the method to download, select I have read and agree to the
terms and conditions. check box and click the
to initiate the download of sdi-v7.1.0.ova file. Note: For this example, HTTP is used for the download. However, you may use Download director and a download method.
Once you have downloaded the package(s), you must unpack the desired packs to obtain the required files.
