Report Linking
The Report Linking page enables you to configure global device and object report links to device and object reports and report templates.
Important: Report Linking only applies to report variables of the same type. For
example, clicking on a device will only send a Device to device report variables. However,
clicking on a Device will not affect a Flow Interface report variable.
From the left navigation bar, click Configure and select Report Linking.

Click Untitled Global Report Link for Link Type, Device and perform the following steps to configure it.

- Enter the name in field Link name to assign a unique name to the report link.
- Individual report links are enabled by default. If you wish to exclude a specific report link, disable it.
- Select one of the following data items.
- Device - the device name.
- Device Metadata - the metadata of the device.
- Object - the object name.
- Object Metadata - the metadata of an object.
- Indicator - the indicator name.
- Click the Field drop-down and select a field to apply. For example, Device Name, Device alternate name, Device IP, Device Description, Device Type.
- Click the Operator drop-down and select an operator to apply.
- If you selected an operator, in the Value text field, enter a value to apply. For example, if you have a template for Cisco router details; you might add a field Device Name with the is like operator and the value Cisco.
- To apply additional fields, operators, and values to the device level, object level, or the
indicator level, click
. To remove them, click the
under the condition you want to delete. For example, you may choose field Device IP with the is like operator and the value 10.129.12.100.
- Click the Links to report drop-down and select one or more reports and/or report
templates. To remove a report link, click
after Links to report.
- To add additional report links, click
.
- To delete, select report link, click
.
- To save the report links, click Save / Save as button.
Buttons
The Report Linking page has the following buttons / icon.
- allows you to add a new link.
- allows you to delete the selected report link.
- allows you to refresh to the default settings.
