SevOne NPM 7.1 can help boost network performance and improve user application experience by proactively monitoring and automating multivendor end-to-end networks across enterprise, communication, and managed service provider environments. Going beyond detection, SevOne NPM 7.1 combines industry-leading expertise and advanced analytics to help organizations act on what matters - improving network performance to provide an exceptional user experience.
By transforming raw network performance data from the networking infrastructure using machine-learning across the entire service delivery chain into actionable insights, and then through an integrated low-code, no-code automation engine that turns insights into actions, this solution delivers a comprehensive view of what’s happening in the hybrid cloud network and how that performance affects the applications driving modern businesses.
These core network monitoring, analysis, and advanced visualization features are delivered in SevOne NPM 7.1 and are also included with IBM SevOne Automated Network Observability, a bundle of SevOne NPM and IBM Rapid Network Automation, transforming network insights into automated actions to streamline operations.

| VMware plugin | Use of a proxy to collect data from VMware does not meet IBM security standards. Customers should configure their vCenter to allow direct polling from all IBM SevOne peers involved in managing cluster resources. This will ensure end-to-end encryption and authentication is maintained. | If you are relying on the VMWare proxy to poll a VMWare device, you will need to device move affected devices to a peer that communicates to the vCenter without the aid of a VMWare Proxy. Or, you can update your network so that the existing pollers can reach the vCenter directly. |
