Device Summary

The Device Summary displays summary information about a device.

To access the page, click a device in Device Manager page. In the table under column Device Name, click on the device and you will get a drop-down. Click Device Summary. For example, click Armonk-1 and then, choose Device Summary from the drop-down list.

This will launch the Device Summary page for the selected device, Armonk-1 and display its System Information, Device Metadata, Device Alerts, Objects, ICMP Summary, etc.

Note: Select greenCheckIcon for the tooltip. For example, No Packets Lost Over Past 24 Hours.

For Objects > Interface, IP Address, MAC Address, Interface Speed, etc. details are available.

Click device PeerMon-10.21.106.241 in Device Manager page and then, choose Device Summary from the drop-down list.

This will launch the Device Summary page for the selected device, PeerMon-10.21.106.241 and display its System Information, Device Metadata, Device Alerts, Objects, ICMP Summary, etc.

Note: Select deviceDeviceSummaryNumDiscards for the tooltip. For example, 713 Discards Observed Over Past 24 Hours.

TIMERANGE SELECTOR

In the upper-right corner, click timeRangeSelector for example, to change the time range.

By default, timespan / time zone selected is Past 24 hours. Click the button to change the timespan / timezone. Select one of the following options:
  1. Past n hours, days, weeks, months, quarter, year - to display data from <n> hours, days, weeks, months, quarter, or year ago until now.
  2. Today - to display data from 12:00am today until now.
  3. Yesterday - to display data from 12:00am yesterday until 12:00am today.
  4. Last week, month, quarter, year - to display data from 12:00am on the first day of the last completed week, month, quarter, or year to 11:59pm on the last day of the last completed week, month, quarter, or year.
  5. This week, month, quarter, year - to display data from 12:00am on the first day of the week, month, quarter, or year until now.
  6. Customize the time span with From and To date / time.
  7. Click Select button to choose the modified timespan / time zone.
