Update MAC Address Manufacturer List

  1. The collector has a default MAC Address manufacturer list which can be updated.
  2. The MAC Address manufacturer list is stored in /config/collectors/wifi/configuration/oui.csv.sample.
  3. The user can create a new file in /config/collectors/wifi/configuration named oui.csv and store the updated MAC Address manufacturer list there. For the latest CSV file, please refer to IEEE Registration Authority MAC Address Block Large (MA-L).
  4. The oui.csv file expects at least two fields.
    • Assignment - Mac Address
    • Organization Name - Name used to create manufacturer device
      Note: All the other fields will be ignored.
  5. If oui.csv file is corrupted or empty, the collector will exit.
    Important: The user must not make any changes to oui.csv.sample file and also, if the oui.csv file is not present in the folder, oui.csv.sample file will be used.
