Shortcuts
The Shortcuts page allows you to save resource selection as shortcuts to be reused across widgets in SevOne Data Insight without having to create groups in SevOne NMS. The following widgets support Resource Type, Shortcut.

- Alert Summary
- Flow
- Group Metrics
- Metadata
- Performance Metrics
- TopN
From the left navigation bar, click Configure and select Shortcuts.
If a shortcut is selected in the left-panel, the right-panel provides you with the Shortcut Settings for the shortcut selected.
Buttons
The following buttons are available on the upper-right corner to manage the shortcuts.
- Create Shortcut - to create a new shortcut. To create a new report, click Create Shortcut.
- Delete - to delete the selected report(s). You can delete multiple reports at the same time.
- - to refresh report information, click the icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
Details
The Details tab allows you to create a new shortcut or view/edit details of the shortcut selected.
- Allows you to add/edit the Shortcut name and Description of the shortcut. It also
displays the details about who the owner of the report is and when it was last modified.
Example
- Click Save to save the updates or Cancel to exit.Note: Save button becomes available only if any of the fields are updated.
Data
The Data tab enables you to select resources for your shortcut.
Perform the following steps to set the shortcut settings for Data tab.
- For Datasource and Resource Type settings, please refer to section Select
Widget Resources in Create.Important: Resource Type, Object, allows you to search on object description, device display name, and plugin.ObjectName. You must enter a string in double-quotes. Search can also be performed on a word. You may enter one or more strings/words in Resource Type > Object.
Example# 1
If you enter "IP of device" echo CPU196640, these are 3 key terms to search on. All objects containing IP of device, echo, and CPU196640 will be available to choose from.
IP of device is in double-quotes as the search is on all words with space in between. A string can have one or more spaces in it.
Example# 2
If you enter IP of device echo CPU196640, these are 5 key terms to search on. All objects containing IP, of, device, echo, and CPU196640 will be available to choose from.
Example# 3
If you enter CPU, all objects containing CPU will be available to choose from. It can return objects such as CPU196640, CPU196632, etc.Example

Permissions
Allows user to manage permissions for the shortcut.
Perform the following steps to set permissions.
- Click the Owner drop-down and select a user name to assign as the shortcut owner.
- Click the User Access drop-down and select one of the following options:
- Private - to provide access to the shortcut owner only.
- Public - to provide access to everyone.
- Restricted - to provide access to specified users. If you select this option, click the Users drop-down to select user(s) who are able to access the shortcut.
- Multi-tenant - to provide access to one or more tenants. From Tenants drop-down list, select the tenants you want to share the selected shortcut with.
- Multi-team - to provide access to one or more teams. From Teams drop-down list, select the teams you want to share the selected shortcut with.
- Select the Read Only check box to provide read only access to specified users. (The report owner always has full access.)
- Click Save to apply the changes or Cancel to exit.Note: Save button becomes available only if any of the fields are updated.
