User Roles
The User, Roles, & Permissions page enables you to view information about users, user roles, and permissions as well as manage users and user roles.
From the left navigation bar, click Administer and select User Roles.
-
When creating a tenant, if nmsRoleId is blank, all users will have access to log in.
-
If nmsRoleId has a value then the users must be in that role and not in a role that is a child of the role. i.e. subgroup.
User accounts must also exist on all data sources with the same credentials as the authentication source, in order to retrieve other assigned NMS roles for data access. The NMS role used for tenant membership may be modified on SevOne Data Insight tenant management page.
Perform the following steps to view information about users, user roles, and user permissions. User Permissions are read-only.
