The SDN Controller Status widget displays the status of the Cisco ACI controllers (APICs).

The Data tab enables you to select the resources to graph.

SDN Controller Status Data

Perform the following steps to set the widget settings for Data tab.

  1. Click the Datasource drop-down and select SevOne NMS cluster or appliance.
  2. Click the APIC drop-down and select one or more APICs.
  3. Click Run to generate an SDN Controller Status report based on the configuration.
    Run button is only available when one or more fields are changed in the Data tab.

    Replace Untitled Report name with an appropriate report name. For example, SDN Controller Status Report.

    Replace Untitled Section name with an appropriate name. For example, SDN Controller Status.

Linking

The Report Linking tab enables you to select a data element and link it to a related report or report template. Perform the following steps to add, delete, and edit links.

Perform the following steps to set the widget settings for Linking tab.

  1. Include report links allows you to include the report links that you configure. Enable to include the report link that you configure. If you want to prevent the report link from being included, disable it. Continue with the steps below to configure report link(s).
  2. Switches for individual report links are selected by default. If you wish to exclude a specific report link, disable the switch for it.
  3. Use the Clicking on drop-down to select a data item that you want to link with the report or report template. When you select a data item for a report link, that data item is no longer listed as an option for other report links as it has already been used. You can apply multiple reports/report templates to the selected data item.
  4. Click the Links to report drop-down and select one or more reports or report templates to display when you click on the data item that you specified in the previous step.
  5. To remove a report link, click Delete icon.
  6. If the report link has been deleted, you may click Add report link buttonto add.

The Table visualization displays the data as a table. Perform the following steps to set the widget settings for the Table visualization.

  1. Select the Table visualization by clicking Table visualization.
  2. TITLE
    1. Enable Show title to enter the title name in the text field provided and display it in report. Else, disable it.
    2. Enable Show subtitle to enter the sub-title name in the text field provided and display it in the report. Else, disable it.
  3. COLUMNS & CELLS
    1. Enable Show search bar to display search bar in the report. Else, disable it.
    2. Enable Allow column reordering to allow the columns that display in the report to be reordered.
    3. Enable Allow showing/hiding columns to allow columns in the report to be hidden and unhidden.
    4. Enable Wrap cell content to wrap long text in a data row so that all text displays. Leave clear to display as much text as fits into the cell with ellipses to indicate there is more text.
  4. COLUMN SELECTION
    1. Select the check boxes to display the selected fields as data columns in the table. The names in the second column are the names for the columns that appear in the report. You may modify the names in the second column to your choice.
  5. COLOR SCHEME
    1. Column default color - It allows you to set the default color for the report columns. Click White color next to each field to open the color palette and select a color for each field. These fields are the columns that appear in the report generated and will show the background color with the color chosen for those fields.
    2. Color Scheme - Allows you to add color scheme(s) to apply color to columns based on the specific string condition. Color can be applied to all the columns based on the specific string matching condition. If there are no color schemes available, click Add to add a color scheme or click Add more to add additional color schemes.
      Default color for columns is overridden by the color scheme condition and all color scheme conditions are overridden by the specific column color scheme.
