Cisco AP Inspector

The Cisco AP (Access Point) Inspector widget shows the SNMP summary information of selected AP as graphs. It allows you to select Access Point and Radio Slot fields. Once selected, the values are passed to SevOne NMS where it performs a lookup on the SNMP info for WLC to retrieve the summary information which is graphed as:

  • Channel List Comparison (Interference and Noise readings for the AP/Radio)

  • Current Channel Coverage (where the user stations fall in relation to RSSI Coverage and SnR Coverage)

WLCs generally automatically select an appropriate radio channel. However, you have the option to view all available radio channels and their performance characteristics to verify that the best channel is in use.

Cisco AP Inspector widget is supported on Cisco Airspace only.
