EMAIL

The Email section enables you to configure email settings so that reports will be sent to designated email addresses.

Perform the following steps to define the email server that SevOne Data Insight uses to email reports.

1. In the Server field, enter the host name or IP address of the SMTP email server for SevOne Data Insight to use to send emails.
2. In the Port field, enter the port number on the email server for SevOne Data Insight to use.
3. Select the Enable Authentication check box to enable the Username field and Password field. If you leave this check box clear, a user name and password won't be required.
4. In the Username field, enter the user name that SevOne Data Insight needs to authenticate onto the email server.
5. In the Password field, enter the password that SevOne Data Insight needs to authenticate onto the email server.
6. Click the Connection Security drop-down and select one of the following options:
   • None - to not use a connection security option.
   • SSL/TLS - to use Security Sockets Layer.
   • STARTTLS - to use Start Transport Layer Security.
7. In the Sender Email Address field, enter the email address to appear as the sender of the emails. Make sure to use a valid email address format.
8. In the Sender Name field, enter the name to appear as the sender of the emails.
9. In the Subject field, enter the text to appear in the Subject line of emails.
10. In the upper-right corner, click Send Test Email to send a test email to the email address associated with the SevOne NMS user profile from the email sender through the email server. If the test is unsuccessful, an error message will appear in the upper-right corner of the page.

FTP / SFTP

The FTP / SFTP section enables you to configure FTP / SFTP destination settings for SevOne Data Insight to use when sending a report via FTP or SFTP.

Perform the following steps to configure File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) settings.

1. Click the Protocol drop-down and select FTP or SFTP.
2. In the Server field, enter the IP address or host name of the FTP/SFTP server for SevOne Data Insight to use to send reports.
3. In the Port field, enter the port number on the server for SevOne Data Insight to use.
4. In the Username field, enter the user name that SevOne Data Insight needs to authenticate onto the FTP/SFTP server.
5. In the Password field, enter the password that SevOne Data Insight needs to authenticate onto the FTP/SFTP server.
6. In the Path field, enter the path to the location on the FTP/SFTP server where you want the report to be sent.
7. In the upper-right corner, click Test FTP Connection to verify that your FTP/SFTP settings work correctly.

Buttons

On the Delivery Configuration page, there are 3 buttons.

• Send Test Email - allows you to send a test email.
• Test FTP Connection - allows you to verify the FTP connection.
• Save - allows you to save the Email and/or FTP / SFTP settings.
