Configuring your application in Yahoo

To use Yahoo as an identity source, you must configure your application in Yahoo.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Yahoo developers site at https://developer.yahoo.com.
  2. Click the Apps tab.
  3. From the My Apps page, click Create App.
    1. Provide a name for your application.
    2. Select Web Application as the application type.
    3. Specify your Verify domain in the Redirect URI(s) field.
    4. Select Contacts.
      Make sure that the default value Read is selected.
    5. Select Profiles (Social Directory).
      Make sure that Read/Write Public and Private is selected.
    6. Click Create App.
  4. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Specify these authentication keys in the Verify Admin console Add Identity Source dialog box.
