Configuring hybrid Azure Active Directory join for Microsoft 365 application
Configure a hybrid Azure Active Directory join after you configure a federated Azure Active Directory.
Before you begin
- Set up Active Directory on a freshly installed Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition with all the updates installed.
- Create a domain user and join the Windows domain.
- Set up Azure Active Directory Connect and Configure hybrid Azure Active Directory join.
- Join the local Active Directory domain with the hybrid Azure Active Directory join configured.
Note: It takes up to 30 minutes to synchronize the newly joined Windows 10 device to Azure Active Directory. It takes another 30 minutes or more for the device to complete hybrid Azure Active Directory join after it is synchronized to Azure Active Directory.
- Validate that the hybrid Azure Active Directory join is configured correctly with
