Editing a device manager

Modify any of the settings for your device manager.

About this task

The actual field that you can modify depend on the type of device manager.

Procedure

  1. Select Authentication > Device managers.
  2. Select the device manager that you want to edit.
  3. Edit the general settings.
    You cannot change the settings for the identity source or the ID.
  4. Edit the attribute mapping
    You can modify or delete the attributes or add new attributes.
  5. Edit the connections settings.
    If you did not set up certificate profiles or scope during the initial device manager configuration, you can configure them now.
    1. On the API credentials tab enter the credentials to change the application that the managed devices can access.
      If you make changes, you must test the connections before you can continue.
    2. Select Root certificate profile.
      Follow the directions to create a root certificate profile.
    3. Select SCEP certificate profile.
      Follow the directions to create an SCEP certificate profile.
    4. Select Scope.
      Create or modify the scope.
    5. Test the configuration.
  6. Select Save changes.
