Deleting your user profile

Remove a profile that is no longer needed.

About this task

Note: User profiles can be deleted only if they are not a part of admin, application owners, help desk, read only, developer, or privacy officer groups. If the profile is a part of one of these restricted groups, you must contact your administrator to be removed from the group, then you can delete that profile.

Procedure

  1. Open the profile URL provided by your administrator.
  2. Log in with the profile you want to delete.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Delete profile.
  5. On the display, select Confirm.
    1. Optional: If you do not want to delete the account, select Cancel.
  6. After you are redirected to the Two-step verification page, select the method that is set up for you to verify that you are the person who is deleting the profile.
    • Email- A one-time password is sent to your email.
    • Text message- A one-time password is sent to your phone number that contains the code.
    • Phone- You receive a call and verbally receive the one-time password.
  7. Enter the one-time password that you receive into the text box.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. The profile is successfully deleted and you can return to the home page by clicking Return home.
