Deleting your user profile
Remove a profile that is no longer needed.
About this task
Note: User profiles can be deleted only if they are not a part of admin, application owners, help
desk, read only, developer, or privacy officer groups. If the profile is a part of one of these
restricted groups, you must contact your administrator to be removed from the group, then you can
delete that profile.
Procedure
- Open the profile URL provided by your administrator.
- Log in with the profile you want to delete.
- Click Settings.
- Click Delete profile.
- On the display, select Confirm.
- Optional: If you do not want to delete the account, select Cancel.
- After you are redirected to the Two-step verification page, select the method that is set
up for you to verify that you are the person who is deleting the profile.
- Email- A one-time password is sent to your email.
- Text message- A one-time password is sent to your phone number that contains the code.
- Phone- You receive a call and verbally receive the one-time password.
- Enter the one-time password that you receive into the text box.
- Click Submit.
- The profile is successfully deleted and you can return to the home page by clicking Return home.
