End User License Agreements (EULA) define the terms of use that the user needs to consent
to.
Before you begin
- You must have administrative permission to complete this task.
- Log in to the IBM® Security Verify administration console.
About this task
Applications can have EULAs that are attached to them and users can provide consent to
EULAs. EULAs that are attached to an application or have consents that are created against them
cannot be deleted or canceled.
A EULA is assigned a version and each version can have one of
the following states: Draft, Active, Expired, Canceled.
- Draft
- This version is in draft and is not published.
- Active
- This version is published and can be used.
- Expired
- This version was previously active, but was superseded with a newer active version.
- Canceled
- This version was canceled and cannot be used.
You can perform the following tasks.
Procedure

The EULAs are displayed with their name, description, tags, and status. You can use the search
function to find a specific EULA.
Note: If you are accessing EULA agreements for the first time, the
Create data usage EULA page is displayed. Select Create
EULA and skip to step 2b.
- Create an EULA.

Select Create EULA.
- Specify the following information for the EULA.
- Provide a name.
- A unique ID for the EULA. If you do not specify an EULA ID, one is
generated when you save the EULA.
- A description.
- Tags to facilitate searching.

Select Next.

Either select Terms of use URI and specify the link to the
URI
that points to the document for the EULA, or

Select Terms of use Document and upload documents for multiple
languages.

Select Complet Setup in case of using Terms of Use URI
or select Next in case of using Terms of Use
Document.

Select Add Document
- Select a language from the drop down list or search for a language.
- Select a file type and Select an appropriate file to upload.
- Select OK
- Optional:
You can repeat the steps to add as many language translation documents as required.
- Optional:
You can delete any of the uploaded documents using the Delete
icon.
- Optional:
You can download any of the uploaded documents using the Download icon.
Note: In order to commit the Complete Setup, user needs at least a document
with a default language.
- Required:
Select Complete Setup.
- Edit an EULA.

Select an EULA and select Edit as draft.

When using Terms of use document, select Documents tab to view, add, delete or download
documents. .

Make your changes and when you are finished, select Save draft.
Note: You cannot change the EULA ID.
- Publish an EULA.

Select Publish draft to make the draft active.
Note: Documents attached to non-draft EULA agreement versions are accessible for viewing publicly
without authentication.
Note: When using Terms of use document, at least a document with a default language must be uploaded
to EULA before select Publishing draft.
- Revert to a previous version of the EULA.

Select an EULA and select Version history.
- Select the version of the EULA that you want to preview.

Select the Restore icon next to the version that you want to restore as
a draft.
- Follow the steps in Publish an EULA to publish the restored
version.
Note: When restoring a previous EULA version which uses terms
of use document will restore all the documents that were attached to that version to the draft.
- Cancel an EULA.

Select an EULA and select Cancel EULA.
Note: An EULA cannot be canceled if applications are using it.
The EULA is no longer available for use.
- Delete a version of an EULA.

Select an EULA and select Version history.
- Select the version of the EULA that you want to preview.

Select the Delete icon next to the version that you want to
delete.
- Delete an EULA.
- Select the Delete icon from the main table.
- View the EULA and select Delete EULA.
Note: Documents attached to the EULA agreement and its versions
are cleaned up periodically, except
- Documents attached to the active version of the EULA agreement
- Documents attached to EULA agreement versions that have consent associated.
