Strengthen the Outbound SFTP Connection With "From User" - External Credentials Mapping

This scenario builds on the basic SFTP configuration by getting the userid and password using keyboard interactive way from the client. The provided login credentials from client are used to connect to the outbound server in the secure zone.

Manage SFTP External Credentials Mapping Using "From User"

Based on the other options selected under External Credentials along with “From User” the information that is provided from client in interactive keyboard prompt will be varied.

For more details, please refer the table from the section Overloaded (Userid/Password).

Suppose if user selects password overload and SSH Private Key from EA then user should enter Password format as shown in below screenshot and here @ is the default delimiter that is configured in the Adapter.

Important: Password overload and SSH Private Key from EA under External Credentials Mapping are optional.

Based on the options user selects user would be asked to enter the password format in the inter active keyboard as shown in the above image.
