Import a Public Certificate into a Trusted Certificate Store

About this task

Use the following procedure to import the public certificate from your trading partner, target server, or CA into a trusted certificate store:

Procedure

  1. From IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, select Credentials > Certificate Stores from the left hand-side navigation panel to display the Certificate Stores page.
  2. In the Trusted Certificates Stores tile, click the View Certificates to display Trusted Certificate Store page.
  3. Select a trust store. The default trust store is dfltTrustStore.
  4. Click Add Key +.
  5. Specify Trusted Certificate Namename in the Name field.
  6. Specify the description for the trusted certificate in the Description field.
  7. Click Browse to select the certificate to import.
  8. After selecting the file, the Keydata field will populate with the file's data. If the file's data is incorrect, an error message indicating a bad certificate format will be displayed. Ensure you choose a file with the correct format.
  9. Click Save.
