Create an Engine User Account

About this task

Create a user account to provide access to the engine. To create an engine user account:

Procedure

  1. From IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, select Credentials > User Stores from the left hand-side navigation panel to display the User Stores page.
  2. Select the user store to which you want to add a user account and click Edit icon.
  3. In the Configure User section, click Add New User+.
  4. Specify the following values for the user account:
    • User Name (no spaces allowed)
    • Password
    • Confirm Password
  5. To enforce a password policy for this account, select a password policy from the list.
  6. Click Save.
