Copy a Node

About this task

To quickly create an inbound or outbound node definition, you can copy an existing definition and make the changes necessary to create a new one.

To copy a node:

Procedure

  1. From IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, select Configuration > Netmaps from the left hand-side navigation panel to display the list of Netmaps page.
  2. Click View all Netmaps to view the list of created Netmaps.
  3. Choose the netmap you wish to copy, then click on the Copy icon.

    A new node is created and renamed to CopyofItemName where ItemName is the name of the original node you created.

  4. Modify the node definition as necessary.
  5. Click Save.
