Change the Logging Level for an Outbound Node

About this task

When you configure an outbound node for the HTTP, FTP, or SFTP protocol, the logging level is set to None and no log is created for the node.

To change the logging level for an outbound HTTP, FTP, or SFTP node:

Procedure

  1. From IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, select Configuration > Netmap from the left hand-side navigation panel.
  2. Click the View all Netmaps to view the list of created Netmaps.
  3. Choose the netmap where the outbound node to modify is define, then click on the Edit icon.
  4. Click the Outbound Node tab.
  5. Select an outbound node to modify and click Edit icon.
  6. Click the Advanced tab.
  7. Select the logging level in the Logging level field.
  8. Click Save.
