Block PeSIT Command from a PNODE

About this task

This scenario builds on the basic PeSIT configuration by adding the capability to prevent a PeSIT command from being executed.

To prevent a PeSIT command from being executed:

Procedure

  1. From IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, select Configuration from the left hand-side navigation panel.
  2. Click Policies, and then in the PeSIT Policy tile, click View Policies to view the list of created PeSIT Policies.
  3. Choose the policy you wish to edit, then click on the Edit icon.
  4. On the Policy Configuration panel, click the Transfer Directions tab.
  5. Click on one of the following commands to disable the command:
    • Receive a File Allowed (SELECT)
    • Send a File Allowed (CREATE)
    • Send a Message Allowed (MSG)
  6. Click Save.
