Deploying the IBM® Rational® Test Virtualization Server shared
service makes an instance of it available in the cloud.
Before you begin
- Verify that the following shared services are currently deployed
in the same cloud group as Rational Test Virtualization Server. The
services share common code:
- IBM Shared Service for Rational Installation Manager Repository
1.0.1.0
- IBM Shared Service for Rational License Key Server 1.0.1.0
- Log on to IBM Workload Deployer (home
page) or IBM PureApplication™ System (Workload
Console page).
Procedure
- Click .
- Click IBM Shared Service for Rational Test Virtualization
Server 1.0.1.0 in the list. You can use a filter
to constrain your search. The Shared Service details
are displayed in the editor pane.
- Click Deploy.
- In the configuration window, enter a name for the deployed
instance.
- For Source Group, click Apply
a database workload standard and then click Green
Hat Results DB Standard.
- Click OK.
- In the deployment parameter window, specify deployment
parameter values.
- Click OK to start the deployment.
