Missing elements on a card

When you are building a card, if you do not add an element to the card, a message indicates that elements are missing.

Problem

You must explicitly add elements to a card. Otherwise, you see a message similar to the following messages:

Table No selected columns
Grid card No selected values
KPI card No selected KPIs
Filter card No filters added

Solution

Complete these steps from the Card builder:
  1. Open the card that has missing data.
  2. On the Data tab, in the available group, click Configure.

    For example, if you want to add a column, click the Columns group.

    Depending on the card type, you can select from the following groups:
    • Values
    • Columns
    • KPIs
    • Data groups
    • Filters
  3. On the Available tab, select the available elements that you want to configure for your card and click Done.
    Note: You can add up to 15 data groups to a line chart card.
    The selected elements are displayed for your card.
  4. Customize the selected element for your card.
    1. On the Selected tab, select the element that you want to customize and click the Edit icon.
    2. You can modify the available fields for the card.

      The changes are applied instantly to your card.
