Automating data exports

A business rule allows you to extend the business logic to solve complex custom problems. While some problems can be detected and analyzed with simple data queries or through the Supply Chain Intelligence Suite's extensive business rules, the suite is also designed to allow externally computed business logic. Export rules can be defined to send data from the Supply Chain Intelligence Suite into external systems. You can seamlessly mix internal data processing with external data.

Sample rules are provided as starting points. You can extend and customize the samples or create export rules to pinpoint and address custom business needs.

Three data export types are available:

• A one time export.
• A repeated scheduled export.
• A streaming export.

You can also mix and match one time exports with streaming exports. You can get an initial export and then update the data as changes stream in.

By default, data exports are in JSON format. If needed, add a transform step to change the format to CSV.
