Performing an installation
Perform the IBM® Spectrum Cluster Foundation Community Edition software installation interactively or silently. If installing interactively, a quick installation or custom installation method is available.
The quick installation method sets up quickly sets up basic options with default options. The custom installation method provides added installation options and enables the administrator to specify additional system configurations.

Usage notes
Do not use an NFS partition or a local /home partition for the depot (/install) mount point.
In the quick installation, the default values are used for values not specified during installation.
A valid installation path for the installer must be used. The installation path cannot include special characters such as a colon (:), exclamation point (!) or space, and the installation cannot begin until a valid path is used.
