It may be necessary to uninstall the IBM® Storage Defender Copy Data Management agent from Windows™-based application servers. This procedure is required to uninstall the agent if you choose to remove the application server from protection.
Before you begin
You will need administrative access to the application server from which the agent is to be uninstalled.
Procedure

Using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), log in to the application server that is running agent that is to be uninstalled.

Click Start and type
services.msc. The Services window opens.

Locate the service that contains the agent service in the Name column.

Right-click and select Stop to stop the agent service.

Click Start and type cmd. Select Run as Administrator to launch the Command Prompt with administrative privileges. Select Yes for any prompts. The Administrator: Command Prompt window opens.

At the prompt, navigate to the directory.
CD "\Program Files\IBM\IBM Storage Defender Copy Data Management\bin"

Remove the agent.

Next, navigate back to the Program Files directory and clean up any remaining directory structure to remove files related to the agent.

RD /S "IBM Storage Defender Copy Data Management"
Results
The agent service is no longer running and is uninstalled. Any supporting files for the agent are also removed.
