Starting a job session

The procedures describe how to start a job session.

Procedure

Click the Jobs tab.
Select the job to run by clicking in the row containing the job name.
Click Start, or right-click the job name and select Start. A confirmation dialog box opens.

Tip: If a job session has multiple run options, such as running a job session in Test, Recovery, or Clone mode, you will be prompted to select a job session type.
Click Yes. The job session runs.
In the Activity pane, click the job name to view the job session details, including the job session's start date and time, duration, description, status through a progress bar, and associated messages.

Track the progress of the job session on the Jobs tab. See Monitor a Job Session.
Once the job session completes, review cataloged data through the Search and Report tabs. See Browse Inventory and Report Overview.
