Adding a new node to the Kubernetes cluster

Describes the procedure for adding a node to the Kubernetes cluster.

Do the following steps:
  1. Add the node to the IBM Storage Scale cluster. For more information, see mmaddnode command in the IBM Storage Scale documentation.
  2. Mount the required file systems on the newly added node.
  3. Add the new node into the Kubernetes cluster. For more information, see the Kubernetes documentation.
  4. Add the node mapping if required by the new node.
  5. Add a label to the node. For example, scale=true
  6. Check whether the IBM Storage Scale Container Storage Interface driver pods are running.
