unlocksuperuser

Use the unlocksuperuser command to unlock the superuser so that it can be used to log in to the system or perform service actions.

Description

This command unlocks the superuser account.
Note:
  • For nodes in candidate mode, this command has no effect. The superuser is always unlocked in candidate state.
  • For nodes in spare mode, this command is not allowed and fails with an error message.
  • For nodes in service mode, this command unlocks the superuser on the local node only. Rejoining the cluster discards any local setting.
  • For nodes in active mode, this command can run on any node in the cluster and pushes the setting to all active and spare nodes.
