svc_snap

Use the svc_snap command to create a snap file containing diagnostic information from the system.

Syntax

Parameters

-clean
(Optional) Erases all snap files on the configuration node.
-stats
(Optional) Gathers performance statistics files from all system nodes.
-ups
(Optional) Gathers the UPS logs from all system nodes.
-config
(Optional) Generates a new backup for the configuration node.
-dump
(Optional) Gathers the latest dump and livedump information from the configuration node.
-dumpall
(Optional) Gathers the latest dump and livedump information from every system node.
-noimm
(Optional) Suppresses the collection of the Integrated Management Module (IMM) dump.
-fcm
(Optional) Generates a new drive dump for each FCM in the system.

Description

This command creates a new snap file to collect diagnostic information from the system.

If this command is run from the command line, the snap file will be created in the /dumps directory on the configuration node.

svc_snap
