lsfabricport
Use the lsfabricport command to display the FDMI information that is discovered by the system.
Syntax
Parameters
- -callhome
- (Optional) Displays all the FDMI fields for the port.
- -hostcandidate
- (Optional) Displays the FDMI information for all the unconfigured wwpns. This parameter is mutually exclusive with parameter fc_wwpn.
- fc_wwpn
- (Optional) Displays the wwpn port information.
Description
To view the FDMI information, run the lsfabricport command that provides HBA and port attributes such as fdmi_host_name, fabric_name, os, and speed. FDMI discovery runs automatically every 6 hours and collects information about the fabric. However, to get the updated/latest fdmi data, use detectfabricport command that triggers FDMI discovery on all connected fabrics.
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
fc_WWPN | Indicates the port name. |
fdmi_host_name | Indicates the host name that is registered by the port. |
nportid | Indicates the port identifier on the switch. |
fabric_name | Indicates the name of the port fabric. |
speed | Indicates the current port speed in Gb. |
supported_speed | Indicates the multiple supported speed by the port in Gb. |
manufacturer | Indicates the manufacturer of the port or HBA. |
serial_number | Indicates the serial number of HBA for the port. |
model | Indicates the model of HBA for the port. |
model_desc | Indicates the model description of HBA for the port. |
firmware_version | Indicates the firmware version of HBA for the port. |
driver_version | Indicates the driver version of HBA for the port. |
os | Indicates the name and version of the operating software. |
symbolic_name | Indicates the symbolic name of the node. |
host_name | Indicates the name of the host object if WWPN is configured in a host object. |
logged_in | Indicates whether the WWPN is logged in to any node in IBM® Storage Virtualize system. |
login_cnt | Indicates whether the port is logged in to any IBM Storage Virtualize system. Value can be yes or no. |
valid_login_cnt | Indicates the losing count that are candidates for serving IOs. This count gives an indication on number of vdisk paths that the host port will detect from the IBM Storage Virtualize cluster. |
iogrp_cnt | Indicates the number of IO groups on which host port has valid logins. |
login_status |
Indicates whether the WWPN is logged into all nodes that are part of an iogrp on the same fc_io_port_index. If so, the login_status is reported as symmetric. If WWPN is logged-in to fewer fc_io_port_index on a nodes in iogrp, then login_status is reported as asymmetric. Otherwise, it is reported as offline. |
