chownershipgroup

The chownershipgroup command modifies the properties of an ownership group.

Syntax

Parameters

-name name
(Optional) Specify the new name for the ownership group.
owner_id | owner_name
(Required) Specify the ID or the name of the ownership group to modify.
-replicationlinkuid replication_link_uid
(Optional) Specify the new link UID value for this ownership group.
-resetreplicationlinkuid
(Optional) Specifies that the ownership group link UID value for this ownership group should be reset. This action generates a new link UID value for the ownership group. By doing this, all connections between this ownership group and ownership groups on remote systems will be removed.
Note: Items owned by ownership groups (such as user groups, hosts, host clusters and port sets) that are unaffected by replication are not impacted by the ownership group link changes.
