This command is for use with products that have hot-swappable fan assemblies. Use the chenclosurefanmodule command to modify the properties of an enclosure fan module.

Syntax

Parameters

-fanmodule fanmodule_id
Specifies the fan module in the enclosure that is identified in the command.
-identify yes | no
Turns on a flashing light-emitting diode (LED) on the enclosure to make it easier to identify the fan assembly. The values are yes or no.
enclosure_id
Specifies the enclosure that contains the fan module.

Description

Use this command to modify the properties of an enclosure fan module.

An invocation example

chenclosurefanmodule -fanmodule 2 -identify yes 1
