This section provides a list of different commands that
you can use to configure the IMS Server.
Unless otherwise specified, the commands can be found
in <ims_home>\bin directory.
Command-line
tools are available in the following types:
- Windows batch scripts
(.bat extension)
- Linux shell scripts (.sh extension)
- Jython script files (.py extension)
Note: Before you run the command-line tools,
be sure to run the setupCmdLine tool to set the
environment path.
Important: Run the command-line
tools with administrator authority in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 with Windows User Account Control (UAC) enabled.
Run all Administrators with the Admin Approval Mode policy enabled.
Do
the following steps to run the command-line tools:
- Right-click a command prompt shortcut.
- Click Run As Administrator.
- Click Continue to proceed.
