How to resolve problems

Use the following process to resolve problems:

  1. Analyze and describe the problem completely. For more information, see Techniques for troubleshooting problems.
  2. Check whether the problem has already been reported and fixed. For more information, see Searching knowledge bases and Getting fixes.
  3. If it has not been fixed, gather information about the problem. For more information, see Gathering information about a problem.
