The Segment editor

In the Segment editor, you can define or modify the characteristics of a Segment.

Segment Overview
The Overview tab displays the label in a read/write mode. It also displays information specific to the instance in a read-only mode and provides access to the other tabs of the instance.
Segment Definition tab
The type of values that you enter in this tab depends on the use context of the Segment. The tab contains fields that are specific to the Segment 00 or to the other Segments.
-CE Lines tab
This tab is used to identify the elements that compose the Segment or Table. You can call Data Elements, Segments, undefined Data Elements, or Data Element groups on a Segment or a Table. You can also add fillers to a Segment only.
Level, Address, and Length
This tab displays information about the elements that are called in the -CE Lines of a Segment, Table, or Logical View.
SQL complement
In this tab, you complete the description of the -CE lines in a Segment that is used as a relational database.
-G Lines tab
The -G Lines tab is common to all entities but its content is different according to the entity type.
-CR Lines tab
This tab is shared by all the entities. It contains the links between entities. These links are called references. In this tab, you can add references that are not already defined in the design of the entities.
Keywords tab
In this tab, you enter new keywords or view the keywords that are already assigned to the instance.
